December 2014 – Rail Delivery Group Open Data Hackathon
Yesterday our team went to the Rail Delivery Group Open Data Hackathon. They spent the day working in a team with other coders to create and develop an idea using the open data available in the rail industry from sources such as Network Rail, National Rail Enquiries and Passenger Focus. Our team’s name was Red Zebra and the concept we came up with was ‘making rail travel easy’. It was great to meet others who are keen to work with the open data available and to discuss innovative ideas. We had an interesting day and will certainly look to take part in future events of this nature.

May 2013 – Our Charity of the Year
We are pleased to announce our charity for this year will be Ormiston Children and Families Trust. We chose Ormiston because of its local footprint and through them we think we can have a real impact on those less fortunate than us in our local community. The support and advice they give young people and families in our local area is invaluable. During the year we are looking forward to getting involved by raising both funds and the charity’s profile. We’ll keep you posted!
